I've got a lot of greens that I have to use up this week. Last night I searched for a recipe using Swiss chard. After a few minutes, I had my menu: Halibut in Chard leaves with Lemon-Thyme Butter (recipe), Garlic Quinoa with Parmesan Cheese (recipe) and Roasted Asparagus.
The halibut was good, but not great-a bit too lemony for my taste. This was the first time I'd ever made or eaten quinoa. A fellow foodie on Twitter suggested that I try it.
Again, good, but not great.
All in all though, a good dinner, and it presented well.
Here's my first dinner pic taken with my new iPhone 3G S--hopefully this photo is of slightly better quality than my prior pics:

I opened a bottle of Praxus Dry Syrah Rose and had a glass with dinner. It was a good rose with an ever-so-slight buttery finish, which I really like in a rose.
Hubby's review of this wine will follow shortly.
