A few nights ago I made a delicious scallop salad (recipe). Unfortunately it was too spicy for the kids. But the adults liked it very much!
I followed the recipe almost to a "t", but added a bit of sugar to the dressing.

Who are you calling a "shrimp"?
Dinner last night was shrimp scampi over linguine (recipe) and a green salad. This is one of my favorite pasta dishes and it presents really well.

Using online tools to prep a legal case
The fourth episode of lawtechTalk is now available.

Kung Pao Chicken craving
I am a huge fan of PF Chang's Kung Pao chicken and had been craving it for days. So, I decided to make it myself. After a quick google search I found a recipe that purported to be a copycat recipe. I gave it a try and am I ever glad that I did. I served it with sesame asparagus (recipe).
This turned out to be a delicious dinner!
A vegetarian splendor
I had a lot of veggies to used up, so I googled the ingredients and came up with a colorful vegetarian menus: tomato onion feta salad (recipe), leek beet avocado salad (recipe) and honey walnut beet greens (recipe).
The end result was a beautiful, colorful meal that tasted great, with the exception of the beet greens. Unfortunately I didn't clean them off well enough and they were a touch sandy. Oh well;)
And, the leek beet salad tasted better with feta cheese sprinkled over it, even thought that wasn't part of the recipe.

A few night's ago I made one of my long time favorite pasta dishes, Orecchiette w/ broccoli rabe & sausage (recipe). I served it with a green salad.
I par-broiled the rabe, but aside from that, followed the recipe to a "t".

Chili on a hot summer's night
I was reading a fellow lawyer geek's technology blog when I came across an unusual post for that particular blog: a chili recipe. Of course I had to give it a try.
It was a fairly simple recipe and it came out well. All and all, it was worth the effort:
