It is great to see so much interest in the iPad from attorneys and other legal professionals. This helps drive development of legal-specific apps, and articles such as this are very helpful, as well. Reviews tend to drive refinement and improvement of the apps, which is also a good thing. I have seen a number of updates, resulting from comments offered in reviews of the apps.

There are a few noteworthy updates to the info stated above re: Apps for Litigators. Exhibit A is now priced at $9.99. All three trial presentation apps have a number of recent updates and improvements.

In addition to JuryTracker, a couple of similar apps to check out are Jury Duty and iJuror.

Great article, Niki!

You can also take handwritten notes with the following apps: UPad, Penultimate, and Note Taker HD:

I take my iPad into meetings, court appearances, and witness interviews with Note Taker HD. To write on the iPad, be sure to purchase a stylus.

We have just integrated the ipad into our practice. I found that the attorneys can communicate, follow up, research and generally use this tool much more easily than the desktop of old. We are looking at some apps that will help us with our desktop access, thanks.
